Much better since when? We were there in Sept and it was like Frogger and Schwarzeneggar's "RunningMan" all in one lol. Was it worse before?

Prices are more than the same chain outside the hotel zone.

I think they charge what they can get away with at that particular branch because people dont know a ballpark price. However, please note the price is actually stamped on the box. Often it's difficult to see/read but it is there and that is the maximum price they can charge.

Below is an example it says $116.00 Pesos, I think :)

    At Halloween it was fine.
There is a crossing light directly outfront and it does work.

Seriously no issues as they stop at the red light before the walk crossing zone.
You just need to have a little patience and wait for the light to change.

Yeah we did it its not much different than any big city. Of course I have to wonder about some of the breaks on the semi's and busses. Heard some interesting noises coming from them.

Hey if she were walking to/from the pharmacy in her tape outfit the traffic would come to a screeching halt and then everyone could cross;)

As for crossing the road, if you're crossing where a red light is then traffic must stop for the light.

However, there is another crossing a little way up towards the convenience store, it's just painted lines on the road with no light. Traffic does not have to stop there, it's kind of a 'suggestion'.

Since it is dual carriageway, beware of the vehicle in the closest lane stopping and possibly obscuring the view of a vehicle in the second land that may or, most likely, may not stop.

I don't stop at those myself because since so many others don't, there would be a serious risk of being rear ended if I did.

    Canadian friend, here. :)
Good point about convenience. If it's only a little more expensive, I'd rather just cross the street. Pictures of pricing would be helpful. I plan to take some when I shop to post when I get home.
