January 10th first timers question

Hey, Couple here going on January 10th for 4 nights, first timers. Is this a good time at TTR? Anybody else is going?

Hey thanks for replying but now you got us scared even more lol. Generally speaking is January 10th considered low season? Or should we expect more people to be there? We are going to meet other, party and possibly play and really want to know what to expect people wise...
if you have any knowledge of that I would appreciate a more thorough response.

 

Jan 10th or so is when they run the bible class and needlepoint week . Enjoy

 

Weather can be hit or miss in January with rain, other than that a whole lot of fun. Forgot to mention also maybe a little lull due to Christmas/New Years hang over and vacation resulting in maybe better pricing but resort will still be near capacity in our view. Enjoy!!!

I don't think there is actually a bad time to go to TTR, its all about the people that go at that time. How many are here, how many are on face book and who is leading the charge. (or group that your in)
Find your vibe, meet people here that your going with, participate in theme nights, bring others shots at the pool when you order 50 at a time
Its how you make friends.

Have dinner with strangers, get to know people.

Its so very fun. Our first time was just like yours, so many unknowns.

I met a man named Leni from this board, the then shit show instigator hehe. I met him on the beach at 5am the day after I arrived and he toured me around the hotel.
Its the people that you meet, now we go as often as we can on the same week, and it seems others do too. I have several of them on my face book and stay in contact with them. Others not so much

Once you find a week you like, its honestly all about the people that go that week then you will be hooked.

We went last year 5-9th. It was mid 70s I'd say but warmed up each day about 81 on last day. It was 4 degree at home and very cold everywhere. So hard to complain.

It was not overly crowded but still plenty there. It was our first time. We had a great time and met a bunch of fun people. You will too! I'm sure you will have a great time. We're gonna have our 4th trip in almost 2 weeks and the first one started it all.
