After fourteen trips to TTR we have finally decided (upon recommendation from friends) to give Desire a wee shot! We are staying for four nights in August 2019 21st-25th! At TTR we love to join in the theme nights, we love to meet new interesting people and being Scottish we are always up for a party, so would love a heads up as to the themes, also on etiquette of the resort and best places to hang out. Desire is awesome - you're going to love it. The pool is small/quaint = ideal for meeting people. The food at all restaurants is 5*. Theme nite participation is high and typically very sexxxy. We typically partied at the disco from 10-12, then hit the hot tub from 12-3am, (give or take an hour at each venue depending on the vibe at each). The late night hot tub is amazing. Lots and lots of sexxxy fun happening. It has a swim up bar and so the drinks/shots flow all night. There are beds situated around the periphery of the hot tub - which are used extensively. The party is much less intense/frat like, as compared to TTR, but much more sensual and truly 5* service/quality which is reflected in the price.
The open air lobby bar in our opinion is the hot spot for the nightly kick-off and wrap up. Entertainment in the open air lobby bar is like TTR of days prior in Paty’Os and then it’s inside and upstairs to the disco. There is good participation in theme nights and the resort is about 1/2 the size of TTR so there is more room to mingle than Paty’Os used to be. After the disco many head over to the rooftop hot tub and then afterwards it’s back to the lobby bar for late nights snacks, drinks and lots of socializing. RM is awesome !!
We've been to TTR 5 times, looking to give Desire a try for the first time in August for my(his) birthday. Looking forward to it.
We have a timeshare in Cancun, after one trip to DRM last year now it's the only place we want to go. OMG. May 16-21 2019.
