Hmm, we shouldn't be serving any ads like that. I'll need to talk to my rep, but if those are coming from us they will be removed.

I haven't encountered anything like that on my iPhone, anyone else?

Same here. I mentioned it to you on Facebook and was told it was a virus on my phone.
If that’s true, it’s only a virus that pops up while on CCC

Wasn't that quite a while back? I've only had the new ad system for a week.

It does look very much like a virus related ad. There are many places where one can verify cancuncare is clean.

    Such as:
    VirusTotal
    and
    Update Website Report | URLVoid

To access the site a hacker would need both my password and my phone since 2FA is set up to receive an SMS message with an access code. I also have a security utility that alerts me to any file changes (Wordfence Premium).

My password is as complex as &4'_73vGvsktSM52£&, the site is virtually impossible to hack.

Steve, I don’t think it’s a virus on my phone. Ccc is the only site I’m having issues with these pop up ads.

In some cases(rare) the ad company allows the ad to provide JavaScript that sometimes goes unchecked and breaks some rules like throw these types of pop ups. I am at the resort now and didn’t bring my laptop so it’s not easy for me to reproduce this user experience.

I can check it next week to figure out why some people see this nasty pop up if it persists

I'll ask my rep about it, but suspect she is on holiday at the moment.

    See you Friday @ging

I’ve narrowed it down to being a problem (for me) with Google Chrome browser on IOS. I have been surfing on Chrome for an hour, then logged into CCC, and like clockwork I was inundated with pop up ads...to the point that I couldn’t really navigate the site or read posts.

I then switched to Safari, on the same phone, and was able to catch up on the new posts on here without an issue. Hope that helps.

I only use Safari though. Got both of these this morning.

I'll hopefully be chatting with my rep next week and mention this.

Those urls are horrible! I'm pretty sure legitimate ad networks wouldn't work with such advertisers, but I'll see what she has to say.
