In Canada, we have had medical cannabis for some time and I have known many that have a prescription. They were told expressly not to travel outside of Canada with it as it is illegal outside of the country. This would include oils etc. So it certainly is a risk to travel with.
The airport has very little to do with cartel drugs and weapon smuggling, all that is done via land. Well, apart from tourists bringing their own in. Very risky imho.
Maybe we should put Temptations Resort or the logo on our bags. After a short time maybe the word will get around and when customs sees a bag with TTR on it they will just let us pass us by.
