OK...so a week out now and can't wait to get there. Unfortunately, I will not arrive till late my first night, so does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do first once I get to the resort, besides checking in? Any recommendations?
Depends what you consider fun, are you a single dude, couple? Fun for us may be different for you. Daytime/nighttime always depends on the crowd.
Well unfortunately I'm a single guy and going solo on this trip, but i am hoping that by being single that that doesn't keep me from having fun cause I do notice that it seems like there are a lot of couples on here and of course the single women who are, are far few between. But nonetheless, I am looking forward to it cause I have been wanting to go here for quite a while now and check it out, cause the concept seems like a lot of fun.
You're right that it's mostly couples on the forum, but I'm guessing there are a few other singles not on the forum. We're a couple, but I went to Hedo many moons ago as a single guy, and it wasn't horrible. There were some "fifth-wheel" moments for sure, but I found that for the most part folks were open and happy to engage. As long as I didn't come across as creepy or act like one of what I called the "pool sharks" (guys in the pool/hot tub with just their eyes above the water, looking at the couples and sneaking closer, closer, closer...oh, rejected!...let's try the next one...) it was all good. I met a nice couple who weren't into LS, and they took me under their wing for most of the week. You'll have fun, I'm sure.
Thanks for the pep talk! I'm pretty sure I will have a good time. I too don't want to come across as anything more than a guy out to have some fun and meet new people and if anything more happens beyond that, then yay me, lol. Btw, what is "LS" that you mentioned above in your post.
Aww...ok. gotcha. Also on a whole different topic...dont forget to stare at the stars this weekend. The years brightest comet is supposed to streak by earth this weekend. So for all you late night people eyes upward.
We're getting super excited here. Between the wife and I, we seem to have a new Amazon package every day... Yikes, not going to look at that credit card bill until it arrives. Christmas can't come soon enough!
