I find it hard to find out which year visitors are coming to TTR, lots of people put the day and month, is there a help section or is it just hunt and peck? Also is there a way to zero in on the month and day chronologically.
1) At the top of the topics listing for this forum there are "sticky" posts with roll calls for the current month and the 3 months following the current month - and they clearly show the year in the topic name. 2) There are any number of "unofficial" role call threads and similar type threads in the non-sticky section. It is safe to assume that those on the most recent pages are for 2018 (obviously except for Dec 2018 - they have all come and gone) or are for 2019. I doubt any of them are for 2020 at this point (with the exception of threads that are related to the 2020 Temptation Cruise). I hope that helps.
I think you can assume most are for the immediately upcoming months listed and not two or more years out. Most of us can barely make it more than a few months and we're ready to head back down. When they closed for renovations it nearly caused a panic and there were TTR inspired parties popping up in Montreal, Chicago, Toronto, K.C, Dallas, New Orleans.. Nobody could wait that long to go back. Party buses became a street-going version of the Boobs-Cruise with all the same shenanigans. It was glorious!
TTR inspired parties....great idea. Has anyone attended one and did anyone pull off the vibe? We have a large pool and a very secluded property but never thought about trying this??
Mike, I think there are many as jnine posted. We are heading to KC function in Jan and will advise how it goes. Chinos is attending and DJ-ing as part of fundraiser for his foundation. Supposed to be like the BC without the boat. But there is a bus (vs boat) and events at some clubs. So it is somewhat a TTR (and Desire) offsite themed party. It is our first endeavor outside TTR but we like Steve’s BC’s and the party/vibe so we are giving it a try. We know many of the people attending from our trips to TTR and will visit TTR at the same time as them in the future (April, Halloween...). Haven’t been to Desire yet but will probably try it in the next year or two since we have heard the property and service is so good. As you know (I think) we are not in the LS but many of these folks are which is fine by us. We are friends and like to hang and party with everyone. So I guess you can say we are evolving...??? Hey a good time is a good time just like 20 bucks is 20 bucks! As with most relationships, the wife is the boss. I am told the one with the pu$$y rules! I suppose it is true
