My wife not as open minded should I book us temptations?

Newbie here, so take this for what its worth. Married 10 years, have twin 6 year olds. Since having kids we haven't taken a vacation together that was flying somewhere without the kids, we are scheduled to go this coming June. We have talked about where to go for a while, we didn't want a "Sandals or Excellence" vacation, both resorts seemed boring when we have went and I really wanted some actual entertainment. Being the one that has been instigating the trip, I showed her some options, bought her some WW bikinis - more conservative bottoms and tops - which she agreed, maybe a little begrudgingly, to wear "where it was appropriate". That said, it took some prodding to get her to look but I showed her the forum, and let her read some of the trip reports before we agreed to book. My wife is not necessarily conservative about what is going on around her, but very self conscious about her own body which she shouldn't. Still not sure about booking the Boobs Cruise but if we do, she will have read about it and know what it is. Not exactly sure how the vacation will turn out, but I agree with everyone else better to at least talk about it beforehand.

 

Maybe put in on a list with a few other resorts to explore/research and open up for discussion. Unless she said she wants to be "surprised" with a sexy vacation you should discuss it, the themes need to be planned for and your boundaries should be discussed before going. It can be as wild or as mild (sort of) as you like. I say sort of because you are not forced to participate in anything, but others will be participating in themes, being topless, dressing sexy in front of you. Great time...but not so much if either is jealous or insecure. If you trust each other and can take flirting as a compliment and not an attempt to steal your spouse, you can have a blast. Although we did not need to use it, we implemented a "safe" action (rather then word), so we could make eye contact and know if someone was making either of us uncomfortable and needed "rescued". We will do that again this year as well.

ya....I imagine she changed his mind. I am sad for him.

 

Don’t worry...she will change it again for him ten more times in the next week.....at least that’s what Heather does for me!

 

If all goes well she will come on the board and see all the great responses here and come to her own conclusion. Usually one of the biggest issues is going through someone else's filters.

This site when we found it in 07 is what helped us decide to visit our first time. We had been reading reviews on trip advisor lol. Found this site and realized we had been misled.
There are a few good reviews here, some of first time visits. Most start with having reservations about going and ending with planning the next trip.
