Hidden beach resort near Acumal - naked, used to be quiet, but starting more activities. Price as high as in Desire. Playa Sonrisa father South, close to Chetumal, 5 hours drive from Cancun - naked, quiet. Inexpensive. Playa Zippolite, on Pacific side - naked in some beach areas, multiple hotels. Used to be quiet, now gets more popular. -- I have never been in either of those :-( And, Intima resort in Tulum - naked, but no beach and no activity.
I've been pounding the drum for St. Martin for years, for when you want a slower-moving vacation.... but still want to be clothing-less to where you want to be. All of the beaches on the French side of the island are tops-optional and Orient Beach if formally a nude beach. Some of the other beaches you can go nekkid and get away with it. The food there is off the chain awesome, nightlife can be good though it's nothing like being in Cancun. Much prettier, though. St. Barth's was very, very nice in a drop $ome buck$ when you go there sort of way. It'll be neat going to Greece on the Desire 2020 cruise. New places.
We spent a week in Feb. 2017 at Club Orient and found it magical. Would have been our go-to for a slower paced alternative to TTR. Sadly it got literally blown away by the hurricane later that year and has not yet been rebuilt.
Nice to know! It would be a shame if they or some unscrupulous travel agencies were taking bookings and when you showed up...doh!
