Kinda a gray area. Short answer. First official shitshow was 2015. I believe I know of a good 6 to 8 couples so far from the original group. That being said. There was a february group going long before the shitshow started called week 8. When we were getting ready for our first trip in 2013 we were trying to figure out when this "week 8" group was going. We ended up booking what we thought was week 8, which I guess wasnt technically but had an amazing time with so many awesome people that we saw again and again the next couple years. Many of these people had been going at that time for years before that. There ended up being confusion between when week8 was again in 2014 too. Come 2015 the shitshow was born to represent the people going during whatever week family day (canada) or presidents day (usa) falls on. So, there are many long time vets that have been going at that time before the official shitshow started. But ya, lol. Theres today's history lesson

Hi all, Time to get on the board. We will be at TTR from Feb. 17 - 24. Vicki and I have been coming to TTR since 2011. For the first few times we were part of the week 8 group. Then we extended our stay to 10 days. Soon it became two weeks. We had to book earlier in Feb. due to the fact I had to be back by the first weekend in March to work the state wrestling tournament. Then we visited Isla Mujeres and now we split our time between the two. So now we come to TTR during the shitshow, and then go to Isla to decompress. Looking forward to meeting old and making new friends. Let the countdown begin.
Be sure to head to the Rooftop when you get there! The NBC will be having our Valentines day party. Last year the sexy pool was dead that day. They ended up sending some of the pool staff to the roof! Lol gonna be a hell of a party!
