2019 SHITSHOW THEME NIGHTS- February 16 to 22

Hmmm, if ABC is replaced with Fetish, I have an excuse to wear my adorable latex dress. It's not too Hellish though since the last time I wore it I was nicknamed strawberry. I get that Heaven/Hell is an easy theme and some people have great costumes but it doesn't motivate me and I wouldn't buy that costume just to fit in. On that note, what percentage of people typically dress in theme? I usually but don't always do the theme.
Definitely in for 80's exercise, lingerie -hat & heels and Sexy plaid/country w school girl twist. Would try to come up with an ABC costume just for the challenge if that's the final decision.

Saw the throwback change for the resort too....luckily they are calling it a 70s/80s concept so the 80s exercise fits right in there still.....

Participation in themes can vary from group to group. More often than not though u get a lot of people that regret not bringing an outfit thinking there wont be much participation. With a lot of new people this year, the idea of doing twists on the resort themes I'm hoping will encourage more people to participate since they dont have to worry about a completely independent theme where they are woreied they would be the only ones dressing up they would look outta place (not that that is a bad thing)......Currently, I know of atleast a half a dozen to a dozen people that will be doing the exercise, ninja turtles, plaid night, paint party so those will be a go.

The idea of doing a fetish spin on the resorts angels/devils night (new resort name for 2019) could work great.....maybe call it "devils dungeon fetish"........red leather with devil horns and a whip.....I think ur ready

 

Ok, so here is where we are currently standing with themes at this point. Haven't hear much one way or another about the idea of the unicorn idea for white night so I have taken it off the list for now to hopefully spark some conversation or other ideas.

I have taken out ABC night as it's kinda off from the idea of doing twists on themes and I dont want anyone worrying about being the only ones participating.

Cinnamonflixxx we also dont go out of our way to buy specific items, we have 4 costume boxes now and whatever is in it is in it. When we are out and about and we see something on sale we grab it and it goes in the box. Whatver is in the box, is in the box, and we make that work. So im with you on that. I would not worry too much, just bring what you think will look great, and there are enough of us going that during the day you can start planning, and people will have things you can borrow and accessorize. No issues there.

It is now time to get on the threads and seriously start looking at the themes. Vicki and I will be there Feb 17 - Feb. 24, so we will miss the glow night painting party . And I think I am a pretty good painter . Whatever happened to "sheer" night? I liked it different from white night. I also liked red night. I say this because we have clothing from years past that fit these older themes. Vic, I'm sure has the outfit for plaid/ cowgirl night, but there is something just wrong about bringing cowboy boots to Mexico. lol We should get there in time to maybe do the 80"s exercise theme, as long as the only exercise I have to do is dancing and drinking, not necessarily in that order. I have to look out for the dreaded first day curse. We may do the Boobs Cruise on the 18th so if I am still able to make it to Bash, I will be the Superhero. Otherwise, we will probably go with the TTR themes of White night (bought Vic a sexy dress last year), lingerie night and Glow night on the last Sat. Maybe week eight will have a painting party. Getting excited to get out of here as the snow has been falling all day.

 

Fuck yea!!! I just so happened to have bought a leather corset for my hells angel outfit!!! So that will fit right in with Devils and Dungeons night.

 

I like the idea of white \ sheer for Friday the 22nd.

 

Based on the couple likes that suggestion got and @Laid Back Lenny bringing up the idea of sheer on white night too, I think that we need to consider it. A lot of great ideas thrown out but this has more supporters of the idea than any other
