The red band is VIP which I was lucky enough to be upgraded to my last visit. I had booked an ocean view but there wasn't one available until the next day. They put me in a garden view for the first night and upgraded me to VIP for the week as compensation for the inconvenience. VIP gave me access to the upper pool, top shelf liquor and Premier menu options. There may have been more but that was all I used.
Yes, it’s a community where all the cool kids hang out...lol! Unfortunately membership just does not work for everyone as had been debated and posted often. We happen to like it...for the moment. But , they seem to want to screw it up more and more every day. With the pricing deals that non members can sometimes get thru 3rd pary site especially! We just tried it ourselves for Feb and April but will still receive our Premier black bands ! We shall see if they screw it up! Certainly hope not!
I was referring more to the money I save with being able to move all my Referrals. Also transferring weeks to SFX or RCI can save thousands on a trip somewhere else. We didn't even buy for the benefits of the wrist band colour.
