16 Fahrenheit here this morning brrrrrre it sounds like it is going to be hot in Mexico late December !!!
Whoo hoo...more people who will be there the same time I am, lol. Well from what I understand the room crawl is just kind of like a pub crawl but everyone goes from room to room. I won't get to the hotel till late the 22nd, but I'm all up for trying to start one say the 23rd or even christmas eve. That might even add another level to the festivities, lol . Anyway see you all there and let's keep it in mind.
It's currently 10 degrees at my house, I am counting the days until we go to TTR. 12/26 -1/2 costume wise my wife and I just got all out costumes sorted. Our circle of friends throw lots of theme parties and bar crawls so we literally have a costume room in the house. We added several for this trip. for the white party: I have a white linen Miami vice style suit and my wife has a short white dress with "obscene" amounts of cleavage sexy school girl/nerds: my wife has a sexy school girl costume. I'm still debating to wear something similar or be a nerd glow party: Wife and I found lots of LED glow stuff online, glowing body paint and Neon clothes Throwback: I'll be dressed early 90s and the wife is going discos Heaven and Hell: I'm a heavy metal junkie I'll just go into my closet and find something dark and evil. Wife is a sexy devil NYE steampunk: this is the easiest. we had a steampunk themed wedding last November. we are just going to bring pieces from the wedding to wear. lingerie: ill wear boxers or a sidesling depends how tired we are from flying in.
We're most excited about meeting new people, and having new adventures. We were at Desire Pearl earlier this year and had a blast with the theme nights, the general vibe, and the fun discovery. The open nature of the place (at Pearl at least) meant we were talking with people (and each other) about things we'd never talked about before, with no judgement or hesitation. Everybody was there for the same (or similar) things, and so it just felt right. We've been to Hedo before, and found that because it's a mix of nude and prude, the nightlife was very different from Pearl. Lots of "looky-loos" thinking that if they take their top of for 5 seconds they're being risque. A bit of a drag, frankly. Pearl was more "all in" and on everyone on the same page, and we're very interested to see what the general feeling is at Temptation. I hope it feels right, because honestly it's quite a bit less expensive than Pearl (and so more attainable more often). We'll see soon!!
Thanks for that! We are excited for our costumes for theme night and while certainly not looky loos we are also eager to see what the vibe is like and meet some interesting people!
