So we leave in 3 days and the weather isn't looking too great so far. Other than lots of sex and drinking what is there to do in shitty weather? Last time we went was pre renos and the weather was amazing. Kind of a little disappointed, lol.

The forecast shows rain every day. It always does. But if it does rain, it's usually pretty short.

This is a sensitive topic so I will tread lightly :)

Some see the forecast with a chance of rain / Tstorms every day and panic thinking oh no it is going to be a wash out every day
Others say those rain / Tstorms means it is only a passing shower

The reality is it is something in between. Are most just passing showers or small chances of storms? Yes.
Are there days that are complete wash outs. Most definitely.
We have been to Mexico 20+ times at this point (not all TTR) and we find it is best to only look at the weather sites a day or two before as they do change the forecast frequently. Just the nature of how storms generate in hot humid climates. More difficult to predict than what we are used to in the US. But at that 1-2 days out point I go to accuweather and dont look at whether it says storms or showers or rain. I look at precipitation predictions. For your trip very little is predicted for Monday or Tuesday or Thursday or Friday or Saturday. Wednesday may be your only rain out with over an inch predicted. Again predicted is the key word. So end result is I wouldn't fret.

If it does rain, answering the initial question, the sports bar is the place to be. The staff sets up games like beer pong. A good environment to spend a rainy day. Way better setup than the old TTR sports bar.

Perfect, thank you. I don't expect it to rain every day but just wanted to know what's up lol.

We just got back home on the 7th was there for 10 days and rain was in the forecast almost every day we had one morning of rain that ended early afternoon, people were still in the pool. We were pretty exhausted so we ordered some room service and watched the fun from our bash tower room balcony and joined the fun around 3pm.

I own a roofing company, so I'm always checking the weather. Kyle states it pretty well. I like Accuweather, because they give you the furthest reaching extended forecast. It defenitly changes day to day, but you can usually find a trend. The most important part to look at is rain percentage, number of hours it says it's going to rain, and the amount. Anything around 50-60% with less than an hour of rain, and a few tenths is nothing to worry about. When it mentions over four hours of rain, and accumulation of over half an inch, then you should be prepared for a a good chance of a rainy day.

Theres a very good reason they changed the name from “global warming” to “climate change”
A- they realized they were wrong...and
B- the climate (weather) is always changing
Just go have fun and screw the weather .

But if it rains, to the point of your question, the sports bar can be fun. They do karaoke and have some games in there. Also we take left right center dice and play with $1 bills that is a lot of fun for 3 or 4 couples. Sexy Jenga is pretty fun for an hour or so. Farkle is easy to pack and can easily be turned into a drinking game. We did an improve room crawl once that turned out to be fun for a couple of hours. Everybody went to the bar got drinks of their choice and took them to their rooms, we then met at the lobby and went to each room played a short game had a drink and went to the next room.

When we play left, right, center, if you get three dots you either drink, or girls flash. Eventually it works out.

Seriously, rain has never impacted our fun at TTR. We find the pool/warm tub to be more fun.
