We are returning for our second trip next month - happy to have the first trip jitters over and feel "at home" when we arrive and can't wait to meet new friends! We are at a loss for what to wear for throw back night though. Does everyone typically go with an era? 70's? 80's? Or what other things have people done? Really welcome ideas! We are hoping to take the ferry over to Isla Mujeres for the day and rent a golf cart and do our own little excursion. Any tips? We are heading to Playa before TTR for a few days - does anyone have any Scuba Diving recommendations for great companies or private companies? Thank you!
There is a group of people doing “USA” (or what country you’re from) theme on throwback night Nov 18. Not sure if you’re there then or not, but thats what me and my hubby are doing. We didn’t want to deal with trying to find something for “throwback” lol.
Oooo excellent! Thank you. I didn't know there was a spin off... we're from Canada so we can sort of match... minus the blue! Lol
Part of the group doing this is Canadian I think, so there will be some Maple leaves lol. Yes this is our first trip. We can’t wait!
We are also doing the red white and blue for TBT on the 18th! Much easier than picking a decade. This is our first trip as well. Trying to figure out the super hero night its the last one we have to put together.
We finally have all of our outfits and accessories. RWB was the easiest for us since we had stuff already. I’ll PM you what our superhero costumes are.
Check out http://www.scubatotal.com/ We did our certification with them last year and they were awesome! The owner and his instructors/dive masters were top notch. If they don’t do any dives in the area they can definitely point you in the right direction. Their dive shop is also right down the street from Temptation.
We were at TTR in September for the second time. Throwback night had the least participants. We did the fifties and went as a gangster and a burlesque dancer. We also did the golf cart on the island. It was a ton of fun however, just a little piece of advice.... The driver cannot have open liquor on the golf cart. Passengers can, just not the driver. Ended up with us having a scary trip (by armed escort) to the local police station to pay a very large and "sketchy', off the books fine. Enjoy your trip and have so much you don't want to come home!
