At risk of sharing TMI ... but hey, you asked Ms M did a couple laser sessions and the very little tiny thin hairs left are looked after by the occasional Brazilian (or this Polish guy, ha!) Mr E (me) who once won the hairiest chest contest in high school (it was beyond Burt Reynolds' or Ron Jeremy... take your hedgehog pick), after years of numerous waxings is now totally smooth. Shaving made it picky and grew back thicker and stubble the next day. Taking something for pain ahead of waxing works for me to dull the 'sensation', and the more you go, the easier it is as the hairy areas quickly become less dense, hairs become thinner and lightly/shallowly rooted. Doing the treeline and balloon knot areas understandably always hurt more, than chest, although upper chest and nipple areas are touchy areas too. Still do the waxing, even at our advanced ages ... it's only fair, M does it for me, so why not, she likes it that way... 38 yrs of wonderful marriage (together 42 yrs) is a good testament perhaps. Every time I get waxed, my aesthetician tells me to pull and hold the skin really tight (places my hands, and she holds too) and it won't hurt ... she lies everytime. During the waxing, even when I've got things stretched out tight like a flying squirrel, it still brings a little tear to my eye... even with a Percocet one hour in advance! lol There you have it. Apologies for the imagery. Help yourself to the eye bleach. We say, go for it, two thumbs up for hairless, sensitive smoothness all around!
No thanks I'll stay hairy it's low maintenance. I'll keep the nether regions trimmed short that's it!!!! T
Be careful if he's never waxed before. If he has a not so wonderful response (bleeding, rash, ingrowns) it could really put a damper on your trip. Might want to try it with a little more time to spare.
I told him all of your responses and he was like “fuck that then. PASS!” Keeping his stuff trimmed has always worked great so I think he is happy that I won’t make him go through the pain of waxing because of my curiosity.
Well since its you who is curious I think he should go for it. Our wives go though all types of often uncomfortable stuff that we men don’t to look good and shall we stay stimulate us. Personally, I thank you all for your efforts. If you want to see him like Konjac I say he owes it to you to give it shot. But as some have suggested you might want to give it a try when you going to be home preferably over a weekend in case it doesn’t turn out so well. Just my humble opinion
I've been waxed several times. The only time I felt any pain was when my hair was a bit too long. They say you should go anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks after you shave depending on how quickly it grows. It should neither be long nor very short.
