I realize NYE and the week prior is a busy time to stay at Temptation...However how is it during Christmas? My boyfriend and I are considering going for the first time from Dec 22-26/27. Is it dead during this time because it’s Christmas or is it busy because it’s Christmas? Can’t seem to find a solid answer anywhere. We are 26F/38M. I realize I may be on the younger side, just trying to gauge the likely “vibe” during this timeframe. Also, is the Oceanfront Master Suite worth the extra space? We really like the idea of a larger room but also are drawn to the smaller plush room with the outdoor jacuzzi. Do both these options allow access to the rooftop pool (I think that’s what I’ve been hearing)? Thanks in advance for any advice! Really appreciate it!!!!
The only one of your questions that I can answer is the rooftop access question. Free access to the roof for non-members is only with tower rooms. Plush jacuzzi rooms are not in the tower. Lush rooms and Master Suite are in the tower. Lush rooms have a small hot tub on their balcony. I'm pretty sure Master Suites do too, but I haven't been in one. Well, I haven't stayed in one.
Thanks!!! Happen to hear any horror stories about mixing rooms when booking directly on their site? The Mater Suite is sold out on the final day we want to be there so we may have to book the Lush on that day. Don’t want them to bait-and-switch us with the rooms one we’re down and stuck there.
Our first trip was over Christmas and is what initially sold us on the resort. It's not dead at all, except there's usually not a Boobs Cruise that week. And the weather is still pretty warm. As for roof top access and rooms, we can give you a referral where you can choose between garden view, ocean view, or jacuzzi rooms. None are in the tower, but being on a referral will give you access to the roof top.
We are going over Xmas, 28 and 33. It will be our first visit. From what I read it’s not dead during that time.
We go during the week of Xmas and it’s busy and warm. As far as age I think you will find an even mix.
Awesome! Thank you guys!!! Any recs on who to book through (direct with the resort or a third party like booking.com, A Creation of Original Group, etc)?
I noticed the price has gone down since I booked and I booked direct with a premier referral from a forum member here. We booked the tower so not too many more benefits with the premier. You do have to sit through a membership pitch which doesn’t bother me much.
We are on a referral as well, which is usually not cheaper than the usual travel sites, but during NY it happens to be.
Did you give credit card info via e-mail to the Premier rep? Just want to make sure this is common practice (lol). We originally booked through booking.com but figured it’d be better to book through the referral program to get some of the perks.
