We are officially booked for our first stay at Temptations from December 19-24th in a Master Suite and are so excited!!

I’ve read through some of the other threads listing items to remember to bring on the trip (i.e. meds, pedialyte, sunscreen, etc). However, I only saw two things (suction cup hooks and a magnet for the AC detector on the door) listed that would “enhance” the experience in the room. Is there anything else that anyone can think of to bring that would make one’s stay in the room better/more fun? — and I mean anything, like if the lighting is fluorescent/crappy, maybe some mood lighting; or a portable speaker if the sound system provided in the room isn’t that great (I believe there is supposed to be one, if I’m not mistaken?). Even if it seems somewhat unnecessary or excessive, I’m interested lol :p

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

Don't mean to hijack your post but can you explain the magnet for AC concept?

It must be similar to cruise ships, if the balcony door is open the ac shuts off.

Here's is one of my secrets for almost any resort hotel. I like to have the slider open so I can bring the sounds from the outdoors in when on vacation. However most rooms when you do this the AC turns off, cant blame them. The trick is there is a magnetic sensor on the door frame somewhere, usually where the door closes. I bring a small magnet place it on the door frame sensor and the AC stays on. This way the wife and I can have sexy time with the sounds of the ocean or whatever fun is going on outside. Everyone has there thing I guess, this is one of ours

    Also think about this
    - pool floats for your vessel of choice. It really is a lot better than holding the thing all day. https://www.Amazon.com/gp/product/B075FLW7NR/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Exactly what MajMelons said above! I guess the AC turns off when you open the door, so the magnet tricks the sensor into thinking the door is closed so it will stay on.

I also saw someone post the little floaties for your drink cups. Great idea!

Actually the magnet idea is for the automatic shutters that open every time you open a patio door or the main door. Thinking about sneaking out to get coffee for your sweetie in the morning, watching the sunrise, garbing a towel from your patio? Then expect any down blinds/shutters to auto open once you open a door.

Kind of annoying too for afternoon naps “etc”.

Suction cup hooks combined with a shower curtain are helpful to keep your floor dry. Very stylish showers have the oval opening in the middle and a rain type shower head in the middle so lots of water on your floor if you don’t bring a shower curtain. Yes. Seriously !!

The magnet keeps the AC on if the sliding glass door is open. Unsure if it effects the blinds.
