I looked at that flight, thinking solely of my hubby having to put up with his overly grumpy wife when she has to wake up early... we booked the 1100 flight from IAH.(and driving up the night before) Lol - getting to the airport early enough for the flight from SA would have been a bad start to vacation. Haha.
I hear that. But we figured if we get there early we'll have time to catch a nap. I work at the San Antonio Airport. And I have to work Friday night until 1:30am. Then I'll have a little over 2 hours to drive home to New Braunfels, shower and change, and drive back to the airport for our 6am flight. Good thing I can sleep on planes.
I'm seeing a bunch of Newbies this trip! I find that very exciting, as we all know that a large percentage will become addicts very soon! Since we are all going to be in a foreign land, we know that some foreign lingo accompanies that! Introduction to TTR lingo....... SNAP: Term commonly used for that mid afternoon trip back to your room. (aka, SEX and a NAP!) It's a great way to refresh yourselves prior to tackling the evenings festivities! Those that really want to brag may call it a POWER SNAP!
Great - now all my hubby will be talking about for the next week is all the Power Snaps he will soon be getting!!
We land the 13th as well and our hallway attire that night wont be anything considered appropriate in the normal world...nor will any other night be haha
Holly, not even necessary unless you want to take a stroll down the beach or maybe take a walk down to Marina Chac Chi for a picture at the CANCUN sign. You can always just use a cover up or t-shirt for those things too. A lot of the women choose to wear their bikini tops to Stand Up Paddle Board or take out the Hobie Cats. Perhaps the life vest is more comfortable with a top on? I couldn't say for sure. Just what I have noticed.
My wife is taking 2 tops and that's all. One so she has one to run up with the others on the Boobs Cruise, and one just in case. She's taking 7 bottoms and 2 tops.
