Any suggestions on how to get Premier to do this without an argument? Premier will not honor a price drop of almost $150 per night, and is not wanting to refund my deposit. BTW, the lower price is also through Premier.
I'm not sure. Last year they instituted the buy 2 get 1 free sale after we were booked and we emailed them and they adjusted our price without any issues. Maybe too many people did that last year and they tallied up what they lost and decided not to allow changes anymore.
Did you make your original booking via a sale that specified no changes/no refunds? Many of the sales since the reno have stipulated those conditions (eg the buy 2 get 3rd free sale they ran around Thanksgiving 2017). If that is the case, then I believe you are stuck. Otherwise, I am fairly certain that your deposit would be applied to your next reservation if you canceled. So, you could cancel and then rebook.
Booked a few weeks ago for April to cement our dates. I specifically asked if we could change if a sale came up with a better price. The answer was "Absolutely". We'll see!!!!
Try Antonio Cammacho at Premier. He is are go to guy as others have proven to be less helpful or not at all. He has always come through for us. Dont be afraid to press a bit.
