When we went, we were the only ones getting out of the pool and peeing in the bathroom. We couldn’t believe people were drinking so much and didn’t have to go. I guess that why the pool is warm.
Lol, we noticed the same. My gf said she had never seen me go to pee so much in her life. Being in the water all day does that to me I guess but bathroom was only 100 ft away. After day 2 she told me "have you noticed that its 1pm and no one has gotten up to go pee?"
Update #3: went to SHE last night. Dinner was quite good and sevice was excellent, as were the dancers. Swingers - yep, theyre here(and are at every hotel). 99% were extremely nice and youd never know unless you know what to look for. Only once did my wife stop just short of telling some lady off for being ultra presumptuous and aggressive with most of the women in the pool. Other than that they were fun, because they are normal folks. If you need anything including souvenirs- take the R2 bus from outside the hotel to Wal Mart. Its a buck per person and is 10 min away. Not super mexican cheap but the best by far vs little shops anywhere else. Crossing the road is like playing the deadliest game of frogger ever! Even a local yelled "Watch your life senior!" to us as we sprinted across the crosswalk lol Meds - anything and everything is dirt cheap at Walmart. Dont bother with the phamacy across the street from TTR unless you have the most flaming STD or having a heart attack as it is expensive. Its $2USD to see the on site doc at walmart and you can ask for meds even if you dont need them. Would be great for anyone who doesnt have medical coverage or just has shitty coverage. Make sure you keep the prescrition receipt with your name on it for customs back home. The local bus is, lets say, quite the trvelling experience. Dont take it unless you have good medical insurance just in case lol. Edit - Walmart has free wifi. If you dont speak spanish, take your phone and communicate via google translate. Worked awesome and no miscommunication with the locals
Just a note about Walmart and the R2 bus , take it when the work shifts are not happening at the resorts. We would go to walmart about 9 am and return before noon. The locals who work in the Hotel Zone use this transportation and it will get packed during shift times at the hotels and seats will not be available. good luck and have fun...
That bus is better than any rollercoaster you could ever get on. Super easy system to follow like you said as well.
Ha! The bus ride was almost like the Boobs Cruise as far as holy fuck and adrenaline, but completely opposite end of the spectrum lol!
