@Abby Rose If the Anniversary Party is anything like last year it may be a more elegant night at the start and get more casual as the night goes on. My wife is going to wear a gold club dress and I am planning on just wearing white linen shirt and pants. Later in the night we can 'dress down' to lighter wear if the atmosphere dictates. Last year, by midnight most of the ladies were down to panties and pasties and the guys in boxer briefs! Joe
For anyone interested, I have created a playlist of typical Temptation music that has been heard at Bash (or the Paty'O Lounge) over the years. It is literally an accumulation over the years, so some will be older than others. I left out what I call the "wedding reception songs". BTW, I facebook messaged the resort to suggest that they do a Photo Booth for the Anniversary Party. I don't know about you, but I think it would be a lot of fun! You beautiful ladies could take turns dragging "Mr. Cancun" into it for pics! You know that he'd LOVE that!! We'll know in about 24 days if the resort thinks it is a good idea or not!
Another tip for veterans and newbies alike: In our 2 visits since the remodel we have not brought any hooks, but have realized the need this past trip. You will find that there are no hooks in the bathroom and that is likely where you'll want to hang your bathrobes or your lightly used towels. We also plan on placing a few of them on the closet doors. Some friends have brought the suction cup variety and others the 'Command Strips'. We chose command strips because of the high humidity. Whether that is the right choice or not, we will find out in the next 15 days or so! We purchased the items pictured for $9 on Amazon.
