If memory serves me correctly I think we paid $250 extra for 10 nights in bash tower over the basic garden view room. It seems well worth it from what I've been reading. T
Did you request that room, or was it luck of the draw when you got there? Asking since there are only 12 of those rooms, but 4 with jacuzzi on balcony.
I asked nicely for one with jacuzzi in balcony on arrival at the desk. I guess got lucky that it was still available and the lady at check in was nice to accommodate. What I have noticed is that they are not keen at giving you comp. upgrade like US chains do, when they are available.
Those are on the back side and you only hear them when you're going to your room. We were on the south side, 2nd floor and they were right outside our door, but we never heard them except when coming and going. We never heard them once inside the room. Whoever was complaining about that just doesn't get TTR and never will.
