IMO if you are spending $3000 on a vacation and you can’t afford tip money then I say stay home...not necessarily because of tipping but more so because of what if you have a personal expense at home? I feel that anyone who has experienced and loved the Boobs Cruise will strongly advocate that they are worth every penny + a tip.

That being said I love a good party so I support anyone and everyone that will fiesta like there is no mañana!!

So take it from me, I used to be the cheapest tightwad there ever was. On my very first cruise many years ago (regular cruise, not the Boobs Cruise), the suggested tip worked out to about $300 for our cabin (it was along time ago and the # might be off). At the beginning of the trip, when I heard that, I was outraged that such a large tip was expected. However, over the course of the week, those crew members worked their asses off! i saw the light and at the end of the trip, not only did I tip the expected amount, but I tipped a lot more extra.

Same thing with the Boobs Cruise. (God I miss it! its been about 3 years since we've been able to go). Those people work their asses off! Just make sure to save enough for your trip to include tips. Just save for it like you would food, suntan lotion, and everything else. Plus, the staff at the resort itself. Tbe last time we were there, we spent about $20 a day in tips to the bartenders, maids, etc. and then some extra for the Boobs Cruise. Plus, at the time Sara69 worked at the resort AND worked the boobs cruise on her day off.

It made me think of the old mastercard commercial.
    Airfare: $500
    Resort: $400/night
Licking whipped cream off of Sara69? Priceless!!!! :D

Believe me, plan and save to take plenty of tip money, then make it a point to be generous with your tips, you will feel much better about it when you get home.

One night in April at Bash this one waitress was extremely attentive and always kept our drinks coming for our party of 8 without even asking. I can't remember her name now but after already tipping what I brought for the evening I ran to the room grabbed another $20 and gave it to her directly. I told her thanks for her great service and her smile. Bottom line tip what feel like and can afford.

I saw that Steve mentioned that they prefer to be tipped in pesos. My question now....do you prefer we pay the balance we owe for the cruise when we meet at 10am in pesos also?

    Cash is best.
If you pay by crefit card there is a 4-5% fee if I recall.
May also be a foreign transaction fee depending on your card.
    Have used Visa.
    They do not accept Discover.

I live in a city where a lot of restaurants are removing tipping and doing profit sharing with employees instead. In doing so they’ve increased the cost of menu items to give employees 15/hr min wage. The reception to this has been mixed but mostly positive by customers.

I am not againsts tipping but if the Boobs Cruise did not allow tipping the base price would just be higher. The full cost relatively stays the same with or without asking for tips.

In some countries tipping is non existent. Last year I worked at a ride sharing company that added tipping as a feature because a competitor already had it. Our company really resisted this change for a long time. In the app you are not required to tip but Customers and drivers overwhelmingly wanted this feature. However, we had to be careful in which markets we rolled it out in. Some countries didn’t want this to be imposed on them.

Tipping allows customers to receiprecate appreciation for their excellent service. I’ve even tipped 100 percent on tabs over 50 dollars at places I frequent ( not everytime though). I get such amazing service at these places. If tipping didn’t exist it would’nt be often I walk into a place and made to feel like I own it.

So tipping or no tipping, the cost stays the same. As tipping has started going away, last year my old company implemented it as a feature. If someone isn’t prepared to tip, it's possible their country of origin it isn’t customary.

On the last part. If you’re traveling on a strict budget where 20-40 dollars makes or breaks it, how do you handle a flight cancelation that might lead to greater expenses?
