Hey everyone, We plan on booking for March 27. It’ll be our 3rd time, but first after renovations. We are booking Trendy Ocean View. Any suggestions on which rooms to request? Last time we were ground floor next to Patyos. Which was great except for one night the wife didn’t feel good and we wanted to sleep. Thanks!
I'v read several reports on other travel sites about the extreamly loud air conditioner noise outside the Bash Tower room doors, I'm curious where are these air conditioners located and what Bash Tower rooms numbers to avoid? T
Ocean View Beachfront Suite was really good in comparison to Trendy rooms and Bash rooms. I had the one close to Quiet Pool on ground floor with jacuzzi in the balcony. Amazing view from the room. The jacuzzi was a lot of fun!
We stayed in 3215 in the Bash tower. We had far more noise from the air conditioners than Bash. From our room we couldn’t see Bash, but looked directly out towards the ocean. The room is on the Quiet pool side of the tower, next to the Lush suits. (Look up from the ocean it would be on the left hand side, near the back.) The 3 large ac units were one floor down and directly outside our room. The lush suits on our floor wouldn’t hear this noise, as the doors were around the corner. I suspect if you were further down the hall towards the ocean you wouldn’t hear the AC... but would be directly above Bash. Even with the bit of AC noise we liked our room and would stay in the tower again.
We have stayed in the masters at the end. Comparing it to rooms around the old patty o’s... The sound proofing is way better than the old rooms. So at the old TTR even after the music stopped you could easily hear the people and whatever noise they were making...playing their own music, laughter, yelling, etc At the new TTR in the master (and keep in mind the masters are on the end right above bash) we could hear none of this. Only one night we made it to our room before the music stopped and we could definitely hear the music. But again it wasn’t at a level that prevented us from sleeping. At patty o’s forget about it as the room would shake from the noise. We frequently would get the plush jacuzzi rooms around the quiet pool as a result of the noise at the old TTR and are perfectly happy being in the bash tower now. Noise not a factor.
Exactly same for us, our 4th trip back, but first after renovation. So the $90 total extra for 4 nights for Bash Tower ocean view is def worth it over the Trendy ocean view? Thanks,
If $90+ is all it is to stay in the tower, then I would go for it. I will be a change from before, and I think that right there is worth the $90.
