1st timers at TTR. I have read a lot of stories about things being stolen out of the safes in the rooms. What are your experiences?
the only problem we have ever had is me running up to the room drunk and relocking the safe with the wrong number and having to get the guys to come unlock it for us .. every time we have gone haven't heard one person say they lost anything from the safe
you know I didn't even think about that I have left tons of stuff laying around money even that just sits around ..once I left some money as a tip for the cleaning crew and they put it on the table instead of taking it .. need to leave a note next time .. so we just left a lot when we checked out
I´m really disappointed to hear about the increase in petty crime. We loved the fact in all our trips that the TTR crowd were not the stealing type! We leave phones, devices, cash, everything just lying around, even on the beach and never had an issue or never really thought about it before. I´d still imagine the level of theft here is waaaay below what it is most holiday destinations.
Left our passports, wallets, phones, money, 2 cameras in the safe last time we were there and nothing was stolen. Left tip money once and it took a day or 2 for them to actually take it, lol. I still wouldn't leave anything I really love out of the safe but I'm sure it'd be fine
