7th till the 17th for Tracy and myself, 5th trip to TTR first time in April looking forward to meeting everyone
Note there is a ls group takeover April 2-7. The takeover is of the tower rooms. They claim they have booked them all and will have private access to the sky bar and pool during that time. Will be interesting what happens to non takeover guests that either want to stay in the tower or visit the sky bar during that time period
ITS THE SAME GROUP THAT WAS THERE LAST APRIL!! very how do I put this.... non TTR style? as in exclusive not inclusive and I am a member I will be there at the same time and if I want to go to the sky bar at any time I WILL!! lol I don't think it is possible to take over the ENITRE tower! there are members who already have reservations in the tower or contracted for tower rooms! sorry just frustrating when a group comes in and changes the vibe completely! bums me out!
Here here. I agree. What equally burns me is they come on here and other sites and claim how they have great deals. Well the reality is they book up a lot of rooms and sell them at a price higher than what I would of been able to get on my own. Then if you were to question the claimed value they say you are getting a grab bag and exclusive parties which right isn’t what TTR is about. So personally I hate the takeovers for the reason you mention but also because it costs me more money to go then. It always sounds great in theory but never seems to work out as a benefit.
It makes more sense to do a take over at Desire since it’s so small and generally gets a more quiet crowd. The take over there can really ramp up the party.. At TTR if it’s sold out (as it usually is in April), it’s going to be a blast regardless.. No need for an outside group to take it over for private parties and to hand out free T-shirts. That said, 4/13-4/20 is the sweet spot as of right now! No take overs, no gimmicks, just straight up, April Addict TTR style.. Come join our party! We have a crew from CT with many first timers looking to turn TTR upside down!
