Has anyone ever done the Express Checkin from TTR website? You can only do it 15 days prior to arrival, but curious if it has it actually helped out any??
I actually just read a review thread someone just posted and she stated she did express check in 14 days prior and it still took about 30 minutes for them to get their bands.
Check-in is going to take a long as check-in takes, whether you do the express check-in or not. I think it's just a way for them to stay a little organized. But in my experience in 7 trips, it's completely pointless. They haven't ever even seemed to review my room requests either. I think the mass conscientious on the forum is that: It can't hurt to do it. And you know your in the 15 day window of your trip
I was wondering about the room request. When I booked we paid extra $ to get Bash Tower. I have seen reviews where people were not able to get the room they paid for. In a case like this do they refund the extra $ you paid if they are unable to put you in the one you actually paid for?
We have always done it, if you don't tell them you have done it when checking in they will not look for it and you basically have to do it over again. For us it has worked in the past, we will see if this holds true on the next trip. T
It's highly unlikely you will not get the room you paid for. If there was an issue with them not having your paid for room type, just don't back down. Make them upgrade you, not refund your money and get downgraded.
Did the express check in last night. We've always done it, but the questions on their form are just name, addres, phone number, email, arrival and departure times. In the end, other than letting them know when to expect you, there's not much else that's gonna speed it up.
