Me and my wife are planning on arriving on Sunday September 2nd. We have been looking at lots of things, 1 obviously being weather. Has anyone else checked out the hurricane page and noticed the tropical storm/hurricane (Lane), that may effect the time out there?. The forecast shows a 60% chance of rain for the entire week. Is that something that worries anyone else or should we just stick to the plan and not worry about it?.
Dont worry about the weather. Hurricane Lane is in the Pacific Ocean and heading north west toward Hawaii, away from Cancun. It always shows rain in Cancun and when it happens the hotel zone doesn't get the brunt of it. Even it you do get a little rain there's alway's plenty to do at Temptation. T
No weather forecast is good beyond 7 days, so it's all conjecture. Like Tim said, "Lane" is in the Pacific. We've been there 2 other Labor Days, and have no complaints. If it rains, it will likely be brief, and there are other places to relocate the party...
I think this is labor day trip 5 or 6, 10 days each time, I think we've seen rain maybe 4 days in total.. and it doesn't stop the party!
We were there last year the first week of October. Tropical storm warnings never changed anything. Turned out to move further east. Rained most of one night. This time of year it can rain almost everyday for a short period. Don't worry, Be happy
