Breathless: No more topless?

I guess we can remove Breathless off the bucket list if this is the direction that they want to go.

Can anyone confirm this? Man I wanted to check this place out now I'm second guessing it. I dont want to go to a cookie cutter same old resort.

 

So I contacted the resort today. Here is the response:


"Greetings from Breathless Riviera Cancun.
We still do have a topless option in our hotel, it is in our Xcelerate pool area, not in the pool but on the sunbeds it is allowed to be topless."

 

That’s a really dumb rule. If they actually mean what they are saying?
Write back and say so you can’t be topless in the pool?

 

It sounds like they are allowing euro style sunbathing--full stop.

 

Well that sucks, Jen likes to go topless and to be restricted at the pool is silly

 

I am not sure this is definite yet. While there in July they hadn’t changed the topless situation. It seems hard to get clarification.

 

Thanks, Steve. I am disconnecting from Breathless Cancun forum now - I am not upscale enough for them. Wonder what is left topless in Rivera Maya, apart from TTR and Desires? Oasis Sense, perhaps?

 

Not so! Us 'euros' sunbathe topless, go in the pool topless, go to the bar topless.... what is the issue with boobs?!?
