There is a post on Facebook saying the rooftop will be a new Nightclub with a late night pool starting Sept 1. Can anyone confirm if this true or fake news?
One could only hope, it's such a wasted underused space it would make total sense to do this I'm hoping that's it's true. It would be great only having to stumble down a floor or two to our room in the tower after the party. Now there's a reason I'm not on Facebook, there's too much untrue bull shit gossip on there, I already have too many bad habits. T
I just posted in the Premier group on Facebook asking for confirmation and details. Hopefully, someone from premier will answer tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if this is an everyday event and it will also be interesting to see if Bash is open on the same nights as the rooftop.
bash would have to be open unless the roof is open after but I bet it will be just for people with the right band or if they pay the extra to go to the party since you can't get up there unless you do that
I think we could all expend a lot of energy speculating - but it seems to me we should all just hang on for a day or so and see if we get clarification from the hotel and/or premier tomorrow. As noted earlier, I posted a request for confirmation/clarification in the premier Facebook group - I will post any relevant response here on Cancuncare.

That is a major disappointment and a missed opportunity. The good thing is, there will be a LOT of disappointed guests who would have REALLY loved that, and the questions isn't likely to go away easily. This one may persist and by doing so come to reality. Management will have a hard time explaining this away, at least if they care about the guest experience. It will be a telling moment either way.
I agree it's disappointing but pretty much what I figured was going to happen, Thanks for posting the info Len. I would be happy if it was open 7 days a week at least until late evening or better yet early morning for a place you can chill and have a conversation with someone. Temptation management/owners if your truly reading forums like this your your missing what your money spending repeat guests are looking for. T
