40s Married Couple headed to a Desire Resort for our 7th overall trip (3 RM, 3 Pearl)! Open to making new friends, lifestyle or not, while we're at Pearl for 6 nights this fall beginning on Labor Day (US).
We will be at pearl the same time. Look forward to meeting new friends. As you know we are rookies and looking for any good advice. Thank you for responding. We are a mid 50s couple in good shape and welcome new adventures and friends Tom and Jill
Suggestions for newbies... 1. PACE YOURSELF. Too much sun, too much booze, too much food, even too much tap water (we don't even brush our teeth with it anymore) can knock you down sick for a full day. (took me 2 trips to figure that out). 2. PARTICIPATE. Poolside games, pool volleyball, Dress for some/all of the theme nights. It enhances the experience. Putting yourself(s) out there a bit usually gets a friendly response from the other guests. We've made (and are returning with) some of our best new friends at Pearl. 3.TIP THE STAFF: We leave between $20-$50 a day TOTAL ($5 at a time usually) in the restaurants, bars, pool chair staff, etc. We bring $100 in singles & $200 in 5s and it usually lasts a full week, After the first day, the staff is amazing at remembering what you eat, drink, where you like to sit, etc. They really appreciate it and a few bucks goes a long way towards how we are treated. Try to speak basic spanish if you can, too. (Gracias, Por Favor, Buenas Dias, etc) 4. CHALLENGE YOURSELVES to try 1 thing you normally might not do. Maybe its being nude when you normally leave something on, maybe its a couples massage (we didn't enjoy, but others have), or the erotic photography session with Jaheel (sp?), or if you are really adventurous and secure in your relationship, maybe some public displays of affection and/or soft play with others. What happens at Pearl really stays at Pearl lol 5. RELAX & ENJOY!
