Since August marks the reopening of TTR post renovation, this might be a good time to reflect on what guests would most like management to change to make the TTR experience even better. There seem to be quite a few recurring items mentioned on this forum and on the Facebook pages, but lets come up with some solid, easy to implement changes that would make the experience better for all. They have made improvements to the poolside and Bash seating, so apparently they do hear us, and Steve says management lurks on these pages to get feedback. Maybe if we can get a group of ideas together they can make the changes requested.

Here are a few to start...

POOL HOURS... Can this be extended based on the season? It closes a little too soon for the warmer or busy months. Another hour would be nice.

HOT TUB... It would also be very nice to extend Hot Tub hours until an hour after the pool closes, and then REOPEN at midnight, similar to the old Sports pool. Hot water would be a welcome feature also.

SATURDAY NIGHTS on the ROOF. Why not make this space more special with the party moved upstairs one day a week? This would be a good way to introduce new guests to the area, and to use the existing space. If weather does not permit one night, then swap nights.

POOL DEPTH... There's no getting around it; they screwed up and a lot of guests do not like the depth. The easiest solution might be to build a small deck / shelf around all or part of the perimeter at the bottom. Perhaps a small deck 3' wide and 6 to 9" above the pool bottom would help shorter guests utilize the pool better. It doesn't have to be the entire perimeter, and perhaps only the half closest to the ramp would be enough. This could easily be done. Build it off site, and drop it in overnight.

SAFETY TREAD on STEPS.. Please stick some safety tread material on the steps. They can be a major hazard. I am thinking mostly of the ones in the lobby.

PICTURE POLICY... Pictures of your significant other or friends are fine. But PLEASE try to maintain a better camera policy. It's getting out of hand and can kill the sexy vibe quick, and with no sexy vibe, no TTR.

Agree with all that you mentioned.
Below is what I have read not witnessed.
Read some reports about the sexy pool and bash bars being under staffed.
No one likes the room blinds and how they operate.
Put a leash on the timeshare people, too pushy.
I don't want to start a clothing war but nice dress shorts and shirts should be allowed in the restaurants for the guys, they always were in the past.
Last but not least the music change it up some.

So very much agree on pool hours, hot tub (the whole point is to use these at night.... or so I would think), and pool depth.

Headed there this weekend - our 3rd since the reno. What's going on with the roof? There was nothing during our last 2 trips.

    1. Allow some PDA on the beach after 2am.
    2. Change the music daily...
    3. Have the lingerie party in the sports bar and make it mandatory for entrance. (Risqué)

All of the suggestions seem like very simple fixes that would improve the guests experience. Other than the price for a small platform at the bottom of the pool they cost ZERO, and even that would be quite affordable. Every one of us probably spends more on our vacation than the pool deck would cost. And the good thing about the list of suggestions is, none of it is simply personal preference. They are all good for the the entire group and not just one individual or couple. I am wondering if we can submit this to the owners and upper management and get their perspective.

They could install some normal type pool skimmers, maybe 6 to 8 of them that would lower the pool water level the 8 to 10 inches everyone wants, LOL and then the sexy girl at the bottom of the pool would not be covered by a platform.

Let me see. I think I'd like, after hearing many conversations on these issues since last August (we were there on soft-Opening Day, then again for Halloween (H&H 2017), again in March of 2018 then again July 15-22 2018....

Pool depth: It ended up working out a bit better this past July than before. I think the water level went down just a bit... maybe as much as 2 inches, so for the 5'1" (on a good posture day) Stacia, that two inches made the whole difference. You still can't see her boobies unless you are right there and can see through the water, but hey... easy to see them when she's out of the pool. I've no idea if this is transient, or just a function of evaporation, or what.

Sky Bar: Not quite "completely" underutilized, but one of the principal places which could be exploited better. It closes at 6:00 p.m. Why is that? Shoot, in July it wasn't even starting to get dark until about 9:00 p.m. They might invest in some sort of mister up there to actively cool the pool water, it begins t get hot as a bath in the mid-day. Those things are cheap, starting at ~$40 or so for a simple home model, so I'd imagine they could get something attractive and commercial grade which would work well to knock 8-10 degrees out of that pool for less than $300 USD, guessing. You pool contractors can correct me. Suggest away, I'd really like this problem corrected to maximize the upstairs.

Photo policy: Totally inconsistent. Upstairs at the Sky Bar pool, a guy asked his wife to pose (in her complete bikini) on one of the sides, with scenic overlook. They set up the shot, and security was on them, telling them "No photo - no photo." No nudity, nobody else int he pic, the pic would have been ahelluva advert for the Temptation Sky Bar & Pool... but no photo - no photo. Contrast that with it's open picture time pre-Bash at the Sports Bar and some shenanigans were going on and nobody said or did a thing. Weird, and inconsistent.

As J9 said, if this continues, TTR just can't be TTR for a lot of us anymore. Too strangled. And yes, I get that lots of folks don't want their pics taken and facebooked…. but quite a few do want the pic-memories for later... when they.. um... sober up.

Generally a dangerous set of flat surfaces. Lots of slippery-sliddy-fally-downy areas, right next to sharply-squarey-pointy-edgy surfaces. Fall down, go boom. Needs fixed. LOTS of alcohol is served here daily. Even if Mexico premises liability law isn't the same as other countries... people are already complaining, and complaints lead to non-returns.

Pool Music: What's witht he live bands? I'm just asking. All of the sudden, live bands are the thing around the pool a lot now? I understand some people dig bands, but it's usually at night, right? not when I'm trying to roam around the pool socializing. Just my thought. Next, can we get rotating DJ's at the various pools, so that things get mixed up a bit more? Might fix all the complaints about the same ol' same ol' all the time.

Butlers: Get rid of the butler service. There aren't enough to actually do the job properly, so people are more pissed-off at having the butler than they would have been if there'd been no butler at all.

Remote systems: The rooms are overly-complexified, what witht hat control to run literally everything in the room... which only actually works about 40% of the time. Physically opening curtains was fine... it didn't need automation, which could, and therefore has, been broken. A lot.

Premier desk: Last time we showed up, July, the person in the premier office greeted us with, "Is this your first time to Temptation?"

"Uh, no... we're int he premier room, checking in." That to me is a hugh hole in their systems, training, something. Shouldn't there be a ticker that says to them ont he screen when the people arrive The "So&so's have been guests of Temptation 22 times. So don't ask them stupid questions which devalue their investment in returning." Again, just my $0.02.

Pool closing time: I am confused about why there is not an area, even if security manned, where pool time is allowed at night.

The complete "No Play" attitude of security: Just be aware that, in spite of this not ever having been a problem before, there is apparently a growing security presence, blessed by TTR management, to put the damper down on any sort of fooling around, yes, even up to and including in your closed room, at night, with light off. A female security guard was seen by not 1, not 2 or 3, but 6 different people I spoke with walking along the quiet pool (remember those are the main rooms that premier members of old get placed), and shining her mag light into the open curtained rooms … I suppose to make sure that nobody was having a congugal visit. Friends of ours (not all the same people) had this same light shined on them, as in the way PD does it - right into the face - when they were making out on a palapa down on the beach, another when they Were humpily-dumpling along on a chaise down on the beach, another couple who were just chilling and laughing in their hot tub. So, just be aware.

I would like to know what management really wants to convey about TTR's environment as to the "Adult fun playground" that TTR is supposed to be. The signals are full of contradictions.
