Good Afternoon, Have been reading the forum for some time but have not posted. My wife and I are currently booked at Breathless in early spring. That saying we are hearing conflicting reports that they are "rebranding" and that their theme of Vegas in Cancun may be ending. Now here is the confusion. We are Vegas regulars normally staying at Encore because of the amenities and the euro style pool that they have. We also enjoy the fact that on any given day you can have a different vacation experience--you can turn on or off the party to suit your mood. This year we were looking for something different so we thought it would be nice to come back to Cancun, we have not been their since our honeymoon years ago. I looked at places that allowed euro sunbathing and came across some options and either Temptations or Breathless were the results. (This is incredibly long winded and I apologize) While my wife does not like tan lines she also doesn't like being ogled, approached or seen as being overtly sexual just because she is sunbathing topless. This hasn't been an issue for us in the past where we have traveled (Delano in South Beach is another of our destinations), but from reading the forum I wonder if that may be an issue if we opt out of Breathless and move to Temptations. By and large we are not participatory people on vacation we like to relax, have a cocktail take a nap, shower and get ready for the evening. Again it seems like not being part of a group, which is not our way, doesn't comport with the way Temptations is designed. Finally, (I know you are just begging for this post to stop) while we like to party and will stay up late, when we get back to the room we don't want to hear the party anymore (we opt for high floors and mountain facing rooms to avoid the noise from XS for instance etc.) Is that possible at Tempations? Plush Jacuzzi room? Out of the way? Thanks for your thoughts.
Plush jacuzzi is where we stay, it’s quiet and away from the music at night. We felt very comfortable our first trip and we were not as experienced as you guys with respect to wife being topless.
I would say.....sure. Topless optional, no issues (We're European, so I totally get the no tan lines bit!). There is always the quiet pool, if the Sexy Pool feels 'too much'. Although it soon grows on you, as do the fun people. Nobody, but nobody will bat an eyelid about your wife being topless, it's just the norm here. Toplessness does NOT equal being overtly sexual. If you want to stick to your own company, fine. The restaurants are perfectly set up for romantic dinners for two. As for a quiet room......erm......suggest do not take an ocean view (too near Bash night spot). We find the basic Garden view rooms work for us (back of the resort, may overlook the road). Higher floor the better (so people don't clatter past your door on their way home). The fun is there if you choose it. And if that just means you two together, then yes, why not?
No problem on the length of your post. The detail actually really helps in getting an answer that is right for you, as everyone is different and although many would disagree since this is a Temptation forum, Temptation Resort is not a fit for everyone. So going thru your concerns / criteria for a good vacation... Topless. Not an issue. She won't be 'ogled, approached or seen as being overly sexual' as a result of being topless. TTR is even more of a live and let live type of place when it comes to being topless than Encore, Bare, Moorea or any of the other vegas topless options. So for this topic I think it is a match. Re 'we are not participatory people on vacation'... random people will come up to you at TTR to say hello, to engage, to just be friendly. You may even get a couple or two asking if you are in the lifestyle, in a friendly non pressure type of way. You can choose to engage in a nice friendly conversation or give short answers and be left alone. You can also escape to areas of the resort where there is much less interaction such as the quiet pool or the beach. But let it be known that there is a lot of interaction at a place like TTR. For most people this is a big draw to TTR. For you it may not be but know that you can easily disengage if it is too much. Most people, even the introverts, find this type of place will bring them out of their shells and be more interactive with others. Re a quiet place where you can escape the party and the noise, yes, I think the plush jacuzzi will be best for escaping the noise. Based on you previous traveling experience Delano and Encore I wouldn't recommend a garden view room as they are not as nice. Also, if you can put up with a little noise, based on that traveling experience, I wonder if room quality matters to you. If so then I would choose Lush or Bash tower rooms which are the new rooms. They are better sound proofed than the older remodeled rooms but you can hear the party since you are closer to the party than the Plush jacuzzi rooms. End result is it is worth giving it a go. Just want to be sure you have accurate expectations.
Been going since 1999 and given what you seem to be looking for, Temptation is perfect for you. You have the sexy pool if you want to see crazy stuff, the quite pool if you are looking for a little (or a lot) quieter, or the beach if you want to be totally left alone. All are topless. Want to party? Fine. Want a drink and then off to bed... that's all up to you... As for quite rooms... thinking you don't want anything around the quite pool because the hallways echo and drunks coming home make lots of noise.. I hear the farther up in the tower you go, the less noise... then there are the garden rooms on the north side.. never stayed over there but would seem to be a little quieter. No guarantees so bring ear plugs to be certain. Bottom line is I agree with everything that has been written above and over all the years, with all the chnges one way or another, what you are looking for has been a constant. Jamie

Participation is totally up to you! TTR has everything from the "center of attention" folks to people like us that are kind of laid back. But we all have a great time and still meet some great people. Topless is the majority so no worries there. Sher likes the beach during the day cause she is the quiet one, the beach is not the best in the world but it is close so you hear the music and the party going on so it is more than acceptable. The quiet pool is, well quiet, but again you can meet a few people or not, that's up to you. But Kyle is right you will have more people at TTR just say "hi" and ask how you are doing than any other resort we have been to. It's not just to pick you up, it's because that's TTR. We love it there and most of us hope everyone is having a great vacation. Oh and sometimes it is great entertainment just watching the fun "center of attention" outfits and party . If you want a quiet peaceful vacation you could do it at TTR and no one would notice, but you get the choice. Some sun, some quiet, some party, and once in a while we bust loose too, more options than we have found at any other resort.
i would say you sound like folks who would like Breathless more than Temptation. The biggest positive about TTR is that the toplessness is somewhat sexual and people do not have to play pretend that they aren't enjoying looking at the naked boobs.
These are great answers and actually help me a lot. My wife and I planned a one week stay at a resort in PDC 8/12-8/19. We knew nothing of vacationing in Mexico and just kind of "eenie meenie miney moed it." We are very excited about our trip, however after booking and paying for the trip months in advance, I began to do more research. That's when I came across TTR. Needless to say, I booked one night (8-15) at TTR in the middle of our stay...foregoing a night we've already paid for at a 5 star resort in PDC. Like the OP, I too am wondering/hoping this is a good fit for us. First, neither of us have done anything like this before. We are nervous and excited at the same time. My wife is 20 years younger than me (shes mid 20s) and has huge boobs and butt with a thin waste. She is planning on going topless but is very shy. I am excited to see her topless in public but wonder if I'll still feel that way when the time comes. I think we both fear that she will be ogled and touched/groped to a point where she won't be able to enjoy herself. It sounds like that won't be the case. She is in no way a prude and is even very open to messing around with other girls and being naughty. She's even okay with me flirting and messing around with girls. She loves to dance and party. Typically though, because of our age difference, we tend to keep to ourselves while on vacation. We hope TTR will change that and we can meet new friends and socialize a lot more than usual. Not sure how well we'll do with as shy as we are. But we both really want to get out of our shells, push our boundaries, and see boobs! Sound like the right fit for us?
