We've been to Fantasy Fest, and generally had a great time. A big part of it for us was dressing for the themes, but we enjoy that at TTR also. To us the difference was waiting around during the day for the parties to get started at night. It was nice to explore a bit, but mostly we were just waiting around for the party to start. At TTR you can get things started right after breakfast. And if your outfits are sexy you WILL BE in pictures. Some ask for a pic, and some just snap it. I bet Stephanie had her pic taken 500 times (probably more) the first year. We had great, sexy costumes for sure. But there are a LOT of cameras and pics are part of the landscape so you just go with it. It is also quite a bit more expensive than TTR, but we're glad we experienced it and would likely go back someday. For the money though we determined we can go to Mexico and TTr twice for the same cost. Still, it was fun and worth trying.
Living within driving distance we used to go every year. Key west has changed over the last few years and is getting away from the nude party fun it was once known for. If you haven’t been before check it out but it is expensive. Check out some of the local bnb’s For a better deal on accommodations.
Just getting back on here. Did not even know that Paradise Valley existed, especially in GA. Sounds like a fun place!
We went to FF last year, while fun, it wasn’t our thing. Too many kids, picture takers and expensive events. Some events were hundreds of dollars per couple...no thanks.
The kids on the street at night during Fantasy Fest was a little concerning. It wasn't exactly like a grade school just got out for the day, but we were surprised seeing any kids. It doesn't really seem like a good place for them at night. There are more than a few very skimpy costumes, or none at all, and it seems a little odd to bring your kid to an event with that type of reputation, or even from a safety standpoint. There are over 60,000 people on the streets some of those nights, and more than they needed to see, at least in our opinion.
action is everywhere... the closer to Duvall st the better, there is no Uber, but there is rickshaw and bikeshaw and taxi service, but 6 blocks in heels is just that sssiiiixxxx blocks in heels....we are staying at "Southernmost Resort"... alil expensive but well worth it.... What theme party's are yall interested in?
