Apparently there was a webinar today between Travel Agents and Breathless Management. I read from a couple of different sources that Breathless is planning on discontinuing the topless option - claiming they want to go more "upscale" in search of a "better" clientele. Looks like they really do want to be just like every other new cookie cutter build Riviera Maya Resort. Their loss will be others gain.
Better clientele, best clientele out there are the ones that frequent topless resorts, open minded friendly, outgoing what more could you ask for. T
When will they cotton on to the fact that toplessness is the NORM in Europe, and quite frankly I'm amazed any adult's only hotel has an issue with it. (I still manage to sunbathe topless at most resorts we go to)
Ya I don’t understand this move. If I was offended by boobs I would have picked every other resort up and down the beach. But this seemed to fit in the middle nicely between full party/nudity and cookie cutter resorts. Plus it still had the luxury and amenities we wanted while being close to PDC for dive trips. I am tempted to switch to Paradisus on their AO side if this takes effect before October.
Guys I mentioned this last week. They are changing and definetly are looking for more upscale. Last week on One of the days tons of girls were topless but some of the guards were telling them to tone it down. Like I mentioned one girl we were with was dancing and was told to settle down.
Can anyone confirm if this has been enforced already or a date it will be enforced? It will definitely be a deal breaker for my vacation planning if this is true. We had a great time there 2 years ago and although there were very few topless compared to Temptations we (she lol!) at least had the option.
