Yup talked to the pool manager and it’s officislly gone. Still had an amazing time at the party pool but that was more likely because of the company. He said something to the point that they are trying to keep it classier. Again those are his words not mine. If you are booking only because of the foam party you should rethink because it’s not happening again. We had a friend who was getting a little wild in terms of her dancing and they told her to tone it down. It didn’t kill our trip if at all but again we were hanging with amazingly cool fun people.
You’re not supposed to swallow it! When it got high it was a bit hard to breath as it seemed to suck the oxygen out of the air. Did you mean the seriously choked and needed medical care or choked to death or something?
I heard conflicting things. Someone who knows a lot of the staff around the resort used the word choke. Someone else said someone nearly drowned during it. But it sounds like something serious enough happened to shut it down.
Yeah, something serious enough must have ocurred to shut it down. I suspect more of a near drowning incident as visibilty is limited with all the foam.
Seems as if they are trying to change things up a tad. Not sure how this will all play out but the pool manager refuses to have djs play hip hop (thank god). He told me that if people want hip hop they can go somewhere else. Ironically the club only plays hip hop so I am not sure the deal.
Hey, dont go hatin’ on hip hop (or rap). No discussion needed, just sayin’ Different strokes for Our son turned us on to it about 6-8years ago and it took awhile but we learned to like it. Absolutely HATED it at first but listening through him it grew on us. Now we listen ourselves nearly all the time. The filthier da betta! There are actually several different flavors of hip hop and rap. For starters try listening to Post Malone Albums...Stoney and then Beer Bongs and Bentleys) seriously... a white boy from Austin relocated to LA. Very tslented. Actually many talented artists in a sea of hacks and wanna bes.
Let me rephrase what I meant. I don’t dislike hip hop I just much rather listen to beats and crap like that at the pool. Having grown up ten minutes away from NYC in its nightlife heyday guided me in that direction. Definetly different strokes for different folks.
