So much this!!!! Hell, the DJ could have play lists. How about 30 of them instead of 2. It's not like their aren't 20 billion songs to choose from. The DJ sets the tone for the crowd and can read his/her audience, I'm not asking for deep hose and for them to put Miguel Migs on residency (although that would be awesome) just some variety. You can almost set your watch from night to night which order the songs are coming.
No one will be able to match you and Lollipop, but will there at least be other playmakers now dancing on the bar? Por favor?
Ah the old music debate. I do 14 days at TTR every trip, so same music night after night can get tiresome. The problem is the turnover of guests. Every night is someone's first night in Bash, and you can't change that. They haven't heard Sweet Caroline, YMCA, Despacito, shots etc. for a good long while and that's what they want to hear. I use crappy song moments to visit the washroom or get some air in the lobby. Agreed though that making a big portion of glow night a rave sounds fun. Squeeze the odd 'old favourite' in there to keep everyone happy. Reverse that on the TBT night, play all the old favourites with the odd 'flavour of the month' squeezed in.
Natasha has been dancing all along with Pedro and Lollypop. You just want another boy up there. Jamie
Just got back from the TTR! Had fun, but NOT as much fun as when the gals where there, SAD to hear'em GONE! Last yr September, we had TONS of fun with'em! Miss them mucho!
Sad to say, Mini Cooper is no longer working at the hotel. He was a great entertainer and will be missed. I dont want to speculate too much, but I will say what I witnessed on Tuesday afternoon (while at the the Premier Bar). A large guest was arguing with Mini and becoming increasingly aggressive following the poolside Jenga game. I thought Mini was going to get punched, (not sure what kind of person would punch a dwarf???) but it looked like it was heading that way. I called security over myself and after a few minutes Mini was told to leave the pool area, security came back and the guy remonstrated with security again and was then continually watched all afternoon. I was told later that Mini was fired, but I've heard different stories as to why and not sure which is accurate. From my vantage point and not hearing the conversation I didn't see anything but a very aggressive guest arguing with a staff member.
On a brighter note there are two new staff. There's Kelly a very pretty girl from England who started about a week ago, and an Italian guy who started the day I left and whose name I didn't catch. Also Marina (from Russia) who is a reasonably new addition and gorgeous too. Simona, Mike, Char and Taka who have been there a while are still there.
