Does the resort have enough pool chairs and umbrella to accommodate all of the guest? Do they actively manage and restrict the saving of these chairs, loungers and umbrellas? Does the resort have any upgraded daybeds or cabanas by the pool that can be rented by the day?
we never had a problem getting a chair in May. It might not always be where you want but it seemed like most people got chairs. We also shared them with a large group of people. The loungers in the water were nice as well if you were unable to get one outside of the pool and if you make friends it's easy to throw your stuff with other people's.
To follow up... It depends on how big the crowd is and time of day. Those recuperating or sticking to quiet pool or going up to SkyBar, etc. Also BC days...Mon and Fri are certainly less crowded. If the resort is truly full there is not nearly enough seating it seems. But everyone is on different schedules and some take excursions, etc. and other pools and sitting at bar and on beach so maybe enough lounge chairs but not all have umbrellas. So first No is a maybe. The others stand.
There are a couple of cabanas on the beach, I think they are premier only though but not sure how you reserve them, also there is the Premier deck area. I've never seen those beds full. Re reserving chairs, I've seen complaints in the past about butlers reserving beds for their guests early in the morning but not sure how prevalent that is.
Once you try one of those god-awful, wire chairs from around the pool you'll wonder why you ever wanted one. They were NOT made for comfort. As best as we can tell, their main purpose was to imprint a waffle iron pattern on your backside, and only your backside because only a Cirque Du Soleil performer could possible find a comfortable position lying face down on one.
You would need to get one by 8am ish if you wanted one around the sexy pool in April. No issue at all in November or August. If you don’t get one around the sexy pool there are plenty always available on the beach or you can hang in the pool by the bar or in the chairs that are actually in the pool that always seem available. End result it is less of an issue at the new TTR than it was at the old TTR when during busy times you either had to reserve before going to bed or get up at 6am
