We are arriving this Sat July 7th flying in with Air Transit and we were told our transfers are included and we just need to go to the Air Transit desk once we collect our bags and they we take care of us. Is this true? How does this compare with USA Transfers? Trying to make sure we don't have any issues and get to the resort as fast and comfortable as we can. Thanks for your help
We always fly with air transat as well but skip their free service and pay for USA Transfers. Well worth the extra cost. USA Transfers has always been there waiting for us as we leave customs and goes directly to Temptation. And they will be there waiting for no when you need to leave. With the transfer included with air transat u need to wait for all the others to get through customs and I'm guessing there may be other stops on the way to Temptation.
Skip Air Transat’s shutlle, it can waste precious vacation time. For us Canadians, Canada Transfers has a better price and you can pay in Canadian Money. They have great reviews
I cannot speak to Air Transit, but can say in 10+ trips with USA Transfers, we have never had a single issue. Ever.
Depends on how you value your time. Air transat is a group bus. Goes on a set schedule, and you’ll probably be the last off. Depending on number of hotels, your looking at 2 hours ish. Or Pay the extra, very limited ( if any) wait, go straight to hotel- 30mins ish. Depends how you value your time. Most choose to pay extra and get there as fast as possible.
The owner of Canada Transfers is from Mexico, the owner of USA Transfers is from Canada (Edmonton). Several years ago the Canada Transfers guy used to be a partner and Transport Manager for USA. USA bought some new vans which the Transport Manager registered in his own name instead of the company's and then took possession of them to start Canada Transfers. He chose his company name to piss off his Canadian ex partner. USA have always taken Canadian money at a preferential rate, they were the first ones to do so about 15 years ago and came up with the idea long before Canada Transfers existed. However, it's true that Canada Transfers is cheaper by $2 ($55 v $53) You can guess where my loyalties lie. I don't support dishonest people.
Thanks everyone.... We've booked USA Transfers. Looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday! Laura and Jay Xoxoxo
Hey Steve! I guess you can’t know until you know... and now I know Also didn’t realize that USA Transfers accepted CAD$... difference was abit substantial when converting price on their website vs straight CAD$ price on the competitor’s website. Cheers!
I didnt actually compare the price in CDN only USD you may be right, but here is what USA say in their FAQ:
