Not to sound like a wise ass but really it’s whenever you can get there, as fast as you can get there, as early as you can get there, for as long as you can stay there. The rest of the puzzle will just work itself out. However, since it will be y’alls first time, regulations require that you bring Fireball. I think it’s Mexican law or something. For sure it’s a TTR requirement. Either way/when...you’re gonna have a blast.
That's completely subjective. Probably need some more specific questions to help with a better answer. There are many variables that can be more or less import to an individual. For example: Cost, time of the year, weather, party vibe, utilizing vacation days, sunlight hours, heat, repeater periods, arrival/departure days, crowd size.
September is a good time to go, and when we went for our first trip of many. It is basically one of the least expensive times of the year. This is due to the fact it is considered hurricane season. As you get later into Sept and Oct the chances of there being a storm increase. We were fortunate with our Sept trips, as there was rain of both weeks around us, but not ours. It is hot and humid in Sept. Going around Labor day will have an impact on the crowd size, as people try to utilize that extra vacation day from work. And yes, pretty much anytime is going to be fun! That's something that has never not happened in 7 trips at various times
