Now that I read that again it doesn't "read" as I intended at all......it's just that some ladies can get away with basically wearing very very little while others will be requested to wear more cover.
Thanks for questioning, I reread my posts and understand your question. Basically, welcome to TTR and MX where everything seems to be negotiable and the written and unwritten words are also. It keeps us all guessing. I suppose the statement might be “as it is” rather than “as it should be”. The rules are somewhat subjective and many hostesses are new and are figuring out what is acceptable, etc. Also as has been written about often since the reno, mgt is trying to settle in on the rules, hence at times they change a bit from day to day, week to week. Now I dont mean the hard rules like full nudity, public sex, groping, eyc. I believe if there is a real attempt to follow them than there may be more leeway. Life is not necessarily fair. As an aside and not meaning to start a shit storm, I wonder if there is a disparity between members and non members here...meaning if the staff looks for the black bracelet and gives more leeway, or if everyone is treated the same. Wife has never had an issue but attempts to follow the rules as posted, told to us, or as interpreted.
Stephanie has worn something that I can only describe as a very light, mostly sheer wrap, and that has worked every time. I believe it's mostly used for a quick beach coverup, but it covers her top and butt a bit, but not by much. Actually it's pretty darn sexy since it is very light weight and flows with her form. She's worn that to breakfast and lunch with no problems. She also has a slinky, very form fitting beach dress type coverup, but I think she prefers the wrap because the thin, dress type cover takes a bit to slip in and out of, especially if your skin is wet. Both are sexy, but the wrap appears much easier.
Yea I am not sure I still fully grasp this, but I might understand what you are saying. Some do get away with more, some with less. But I can state the elephant in the room, are we saying same some hotter/more fit ladies can get away with wearing less, but other less attractive/less fit ladies should be asked to coverup-up and put on more??? Obviously there is a bit of that does go on, I am not going to sit here and pretend it doesn't. Especially, most likely, from males in security letting people getting away with something they actually enjoy watching. But I am not sure how that can come into play with going to the restaurant and being stopped by hostesses. **please note, I do not condone unequal treatment of any guest, I am just saying it does seem to happen. And I don't think by any means it's "as it should be".
All sounds great, hope to see it one day !!! But just a warning, that wrap 100% sounds like something they would not let you in Amores with (in my experience). Again, this could have just been an isolated few days, all done by the same new person, and maybe it's corrected now. Hopefully that's the case and the "you need to wear shorts" isn't still being said. Maybe my talk on my second to last day with several people I know corrected this, and this is a completely pointless thread. Oh and also cause I read it above, it's irrelevant, but just for the record: everyone I am talking with regard to this problem were members. This was conversation that was circling the member bar that I didn't even start, but then Elyse joined in when she heard it happened to other people. I am pretty sure the hostesses don't GAF what color your band is.
And just cause this thread basically sucks and I am annoyed. Yea Elyse you better cover that shit up, no one wants to see that at TTR. Might as well just post it here instead. Well at least I'll keep my good eye on the lookout for it
