Does anyone know where the tattoo guy that used to have a Hut at the old TTR at the closing in 2016

I don't mean to knock anything, as you know I am not like that, I am just trying to give advice (as I am very knowledgeable on this particular topic, and often told I have some of the best tattoos anyone has ever seen...not bragging and I'm not conceded, it's just I hear this often).

But if Miguel is the best...even in the states, I would suggest a little more research. Not every place is on the side of the road excepting walk-ins and is called something like "pop's tattoos". This is very much a thing of that past, as the industry has dramatically changed in the last 5-7 years.

If you are dying to get a tattoo in Mexico, there was a place I noticed on Isla that appears (from my limited review) to have a couple of high-end artists. But if you are just getting something simple, or words, than it might not matter.

Btw I tried to find a facebook for Miguel via Anguie for you, but didn't have any luck locating it.

 

Thanks Steve for your opinion it's not that I'm dying to have a tattoo done in Mexico it was Miguel that I liked first his artistry how he kept the environment super clean and he actually even touched up some of my husband's old tattoos along with a couple new ones miguel detail to design is outstanding it's not that I want anybody off the side of the road it took me a few years to actually get one done in Mexico by Miguel we talked to him many times till we finally took the step because of the things you mentioned we had our questions. it's people I talk to that had them done by him that we actually gave him a shot and was amazing impressed and it's probably true we'll probably get it done in California which there are very good places but Miguel to us was top-notch even when we got them done the day before closing he came and found us the day of closing just to make sure we were good I've never had a tattoo artist call me or come to see me the next day that's true professionalism and I appreciate that you're trying to get his number or location it means a lot thanks

Great tattoo awesome job San Diego's about 2 and 1/2 hours from us but there's always a possibility

 

Yea I feel like Cali has some of the best people around. Things have really exploded in the last few years. Wimmer probably has a two year waiting list, and really only does large scale projects. I was just saying more that it's a bummer he left. He did say he would fit me in when he visits family back here. But he hasn't come home in 3 years, hahaha. Love that San Diego life.

Yeah well hope to meet Miguel again but if not we'll check out in California or Vegas I actually like to talk to people that have gotten tattoos from people that might do ours Miguel was the first one that offered me the numbing cream cuz I'm such a baby and now I won't do one without it even though it doesn't numb it for the whole time it helps with the outline

 

Well Steve how long did your sleeve take the last time we saw Miguel I got one large tattoo and my husband got 3 tattoos and then to touch ups and we were there for about 6 hours
