It's being a gentleman and having respect to take the off the hat while at a restaurant after being seated. Especially if he is with a lady.. even at breakfast. I've seen so many who keep the hat on the few time we have been there.
I guess im old school . I was taught that you removed you hat whenever you went inside anywhere , be it a house , store , restaurant, car dealership it doesnt matter its about respect .
Yeah but did you have it out in the open for everyone to see? If so, you were probably asked to leave cause you didn't have dress pants, so no issue with hat!
Yeah I recall the weather. It was sort of a rainy mess. Also, as we all know we look different from our profile photos when at the pools, hot tubs, beach, and certainly when dressed for dinner or in theme costumes at Bash. In fact there were times I met and spent the day frolicking with folks at the pool and than did not recognize them at dinner or Bash! Im getting better now though.
Speaking of ballcaps...... off topic.... does TTR sell ballcaps with the TTR logo or the apple symbol? I got a hat last year at Desire and love it. Want one from TTR as well. Thx.
I was thinking the exact same thing... … and I was thinking that this is a somewhat strange subject to get all worked up about. Someone wearing a hat interferes with your enjoyment of your dinner at a completely separate table? Huh. Sensitive much? I'd have thought the person who didn't know that there was a no shorts dress code (I was that guy once, and wondered why in the hell there was such a dress code as it was still 98 degrees outside and inside wasn't much cooler). But, just went to the buffett and got a cold beer and started my drinking and party night early that evening. Oh, a note on that. TTR DID upgrade the A/C in the restaurants since then. Been back 2x since reno and (we didn't go to She, not interested) and both Asian & Italian were very comfortable. End of threadjack.
I sometimes wear a baseball cap to breakfast, but then again, I'm a giant douche and don't give a shit what people think
With all the work my wife puts into looking sexy AF for dinner, it's the least I can do to put on a nice pair of pants and shirt!!!
I also wore a hat to breakfast, and defiantly to lunch before. I think that when you are in a bathing suit and a tank top, it's a bit different of a story. You're literally sitting across from a girl with a thong and mesh coverup. And 10 feet away from the window there are topless people making out. I might have taken the hat off when I am actually eating though...who knows. I don't think this is a big deal day-style, but 100% would never even leave the room for dinner with a hat. Additionally, I would like to note, breakfast sunglasses indoors are also completely acceptable or more often than not required
