First of all, I would never put much stock in comments made on another site about Temptation. There are a lot of reasons that people post things about TTR that I won't go into here. Second, having just returned from our 16th trip, I have seldom ever seen such behavior, but I did see it once on this trip, but it wasn't because of lax security. There was a small group of Russian guys who were very nice, but one of them had too much to drink and thought it would be ok to try to finger a girl he had just met while they were dancing. Security was on him in seconds and he was removed. In this case, I'm glad security was on it, but in general, they were quite intrusive this trip. They spent most of the time preventing consenting couples from having even a little fun. It went far beyond safety to the point of just being annoying. Please don't encourage them (security) to be more aggressive!
Glad to hear your experiences have been so positive. I'm sure mine will be as well. I do think her experience is valid though, even if it was posted elsewhere. From what I gather the TTR family looks out for each other which is very reassuring. I'm not worried at all.
I’m pretty sure I know who you’re talking about because one of them took quite a liking to me turns out one in the group was the resort owners son. Security did attempt to kick him out and he made a phone call and was allowed to stay... However, based on everyone’s reactions, I would say this was EXTREMELY abnormal behavior at TTR.
I know I'll have a great time at TTR. Just need to be aware right. The subsequent posts that followed were very reassuring. And I'm usually quite capable of handling myself but, glad there are friends around
