I don't get it. I attempted to do this and even with the so-called 50% discount, the Garden Room is $398 per night. For the same dates, I can get a tower room on Expedia for $289 per night. Maybe others have had different experiences, but I've never found anything that even closely resembles a "deal" directly from the hotel. I'd rather they just didn't try to insult me!
We agree! We found the best deals on Skoosh and Prestigia. I just hope there isn't any hidden fees when we arrive to TTR!
Just out of curiosity I just did a little research in April 6th - 14th on a few of these travel sites listed. Skoosh, Travocity, Prestigia, Cheap Caribbean. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but tower rooms didn't come up on any of those sites, and all the prices I saw with/without airfare were all extreamly high.
Got to check almost every day and out the blue come's a sale that's about half price. That's where we've seen you have to jump on it cause it'll go away as fast as it came. Like someone said shopping is the clue, and knowing market value beforehand is the answer. Plus we are learning that most is negotiable in Mexico...just not used to this!
