Went to Timmies this morning and ordered my normal xtra large double double. And was presented with a plain regular cup. Roll Up the Rim season is about over the girl said. Just medium cups left. I never get a medium. So for me, it is another year I didn't WIN a car. 27 years of Roll Up Rims @ 3 coffees a day and nevr got a car. Methinks Timmies promo is fixed.
Well here in Winnipeg they give you an extra cup with whatever roll up the win size they have left, bought a large got a small with the roll up, STILL NO CAR!!!!
Does anyone know of someone who actually won a car? I've seen lots of folks look under the roll up but I don't know of anyone who ACTUALLY won a car.
4 more years have gone by and still no damn car winning tab. Timmies must hate me. Do you think if I took my pristine o-pee-chee Horton rookie card to Oakville (Timmies HQ) They will give a car?
Ira’s coworker $10000 a few years ago. It was just a regular coffee run, one of the boys went down and got coffees for the office and then winner winner. The guy was just getting ready to retire from the army too. Needless to say he bought coffee for the office for a while <3 Nikki
Lucky bugger ...and an army pension ready to kick in. Life is good. Prolly best I don't win....cut I would most likely just spend it all on more trips to Mecca, and have more weeks of unhealthy living.
Well Marshe, will you also be switching over to McD's coffee, along with law enforcement and fire fighter types? (McD's coffee is now better, imho, and cheaper! They both actually get their coffee from Mother Parker's in any case). Arguably, (notwithstanding RollUpTheRim winnings) Tim's is going downhill in service, taste profiles, portion size and the overall customer experience, now that it's largely Brazilian-owned (3G Capital owns RBI) ... Who really owns Tim Hortons?
I agree MickeyD's has very good java. In fact I have never really loved Times. I loved Coffee Time and also liked Country Style coffee. But Timmies pretty much put them outta biz. They eliminated the competition back in the 90's and led the way with drive-thrus. They multiplied soo much....it is hard to get coffee anywhere else nowadays but at Tim's. I'd buy McD's more often, if they were more convenient. There are only a few located here and there. And they don't open till 5a.m ....and their drive thrus are not quick. But I like their loyalty stickers for a free coffee. I am familiar with ownership of TimDonut as I have been a shareholder since the IPO. And I agree they have become poorly managed since 3G takeover. A lot of negativity with them lately.
Did well on my IPO shares, then cashed out. Cannabis sector will be interesting to see how the consolidations/acquisitions all play out, pre/post Oct
