We are here now and have just one thing to say at this present time. STOP wearing baseball caps to the restaurants. It not only looks silly at 8 o’clock in the evening but is down right rude . We witnessed an argument where a so called premier member was asked to remove his cap and refused saying he would get the waiter fired if he made him take it off so the waiter backed down . Who is the fool ?? We know it is an American thing to wear them but have some respect . It has been posted on here numerous times about wearing them .
I’m sure some people will jump on me for posting this but I had to say something.

Agreed!!!! As a guy who loves covering the old balding spot with a ball cap, NEVER in a full service restaurant.

That said, I'm also one of the apparently few that likes the new dress codes. To me it just feels good to look nice for a sit down dinner. Especially considering the exceptional service the staff is providing us.

Related story, last trip I witnessed a long time premier member informing his group that there was no way he would be turned down for wearing shorts (proof he knew the new code). I admit I enjoyed his tantrum as the entire group was turned away.
One person in our group was also wearing shorts. When called out for it (albeit rudely and after we were seated) he went back to his room, changed to slacks and returned. Bravo to my friend.

I completely agree that you shouldn't be wearing a hat in that situation.

Are all the restaurants requiring pants now at evening hours? Or just some. I leave on Saturday, this might be good to know haha.

I'm thinking all are long pants for men in the evenings except for the buffet

That’s not good to wear any kind of hat inside esp at dinner. That’s not a American thing though !! Totally not proper !

Gotta love the guy who says he's gonna get the waiter fired for asking him to remove his cap.
I've been a premier member over 10 years, I cant get an extra towel!

American thing? wtf? what kind of idiotic statement is that?

It's not 'an American thing' to wear a baseball cap in a restaurant at night"! ....ok, maybe it's a New Jersey thing.

Wearing a ball cap to dinner is a jackass thing. Totally un-American. It makes baby George Washington cry
