Only ever used a butler once. We had an “appointment” made with security to open our safe after we froze it the night before trying too many combos. When they didn’t come we called for maintenance. 45 minutes later we called the butler line and someone was there within 4 minutes. Never needed one other than that.

Only butler beach or pool service we have had is they stop by and ask if you need anything. Not things like drinks. But more around can they setup an appointment in the spa for you or what are you planning to do for dinner tonight? When we had the penthouse it was would you like to have a bottle of champagne and some apps brought to your room while you are getting ready for dinner type of stuff. We would typically pass on the champagne and say a fruit plate and some coconut shrimp would be great. Sometimes it would come. Sometimes not.
I think there is a bit of confusion, cause when they are referring to perks and they say beach and pool butler, I believe they are talking about the servers around the pool and on the beach. If you remember, pre-reno that was only a member service. But now it has been opened up, and they advertise it like a perk, but it seems to me like everyone gets it.
There are waitresses atleast on the Premier side that come by and ask if you want food/drink. We have used them often and tip each time.
