But in keeping with this thread, Damian back for some training isn't a bad idea.

I think the newer front of the house staff (bulters) need time to build relationships with the back of the house staff (room service, housekeeping, etc...). With the constant turnover, this is impossible and they probably don't have the support staff on the back-end to make this run smoothly.

Also, we had Armando for part of our stay last week. He was very organized with requests from his phone. Upon meeting, he would take a picture message of the couple to start building a profile. Then used notepad feature with reminders to keep track of requests.

He was a savior with plenty of ice provided for an impromptu post pool deck party. (which btw was on the double deck over by the quiet pool. It got checked on by security several times. Mostly they just looked though the window and smiled. No one ever said a word, and no yellow cards were shown)

So you had some decent butler service.
    Wow, what a surprise ;)

I do agree with the training comment.
Either Damian or someone else with experience and knowledge.
    Makes great sense.

Make no mistake I might have had an awesome butler service, from both of our butlers (and it wasn't a night butler and a day one like it was on a previous trip), but we lost our original butler mid-week. Standing around the premium bar, I was one of the few people satisfied with the service. Just shows the inconsistency butler to butler, week to week, and even if you want to break it down, day to day.

I really feel you never know what you are going to get.

Your point about wearing a pink cowboy hat defiantly makes you stick out, and I am sure is a factor in them finding and connecting within a crowd.

My point is atleast someone else also had good service and it was not like I was making it up or hallucinating...hell you never know just like “the older I get, the better I was” syndrome.
My guess is that you are a real nice and outgoing guy and did/do appreciate the service!
    Us similar.

    Yes good point.
I need to get some noticeable item so that we aren't so inconspicuous
We are kinda low profile, don't really stand out and are hard to spot.
    That prolly is the problem

Hey I just reread your post and yes I suppose I do defiantly wear my pink hat but it definitely makes me recognizable!
